Homeless People Need Eating Disorder Clinic in Sacramento

According to research, only 1 in 10 people receive treatment from an eating disorder clinic in Sacramento. That’s because treatment isn’t free, and not everyone struggling with an eating disorder can afford the help. Many people who struggle with an eating disorder are in fact, homeless. This is a group of people who need the help but cannot get it due to lack of money. This is a group of people that have a mental disorder and cannot effectively help themselves. Living on the streets is not a choice, and most people don’t understand this.

Isolation from an eating disorder

An eating disorder is a mental disorder that takes control of you. In an extreme situation, a person could isolate themselves from everything leading to homelessness.
