The need for Sacramento Detox centers are in demand more than ever before

Over the past couple of years a disturbing development has been going on in regard to the numbers surrounding the drug use of heroin. In October 2014 the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention did a study of deaths cause by the use of heroin and the numbers are simply staggering. The CDC’s released report shows the results from a study done of heroin deaths in 28 states. It found that between the years of 2010 and 2012, the death rates in the included states had doubled from 1,779 to an unbelievable 3,635, not including another 10,000 deaths linked to the use of prescription painkillers. And just as the death toll has risen, so have the number of heroin seizures. The Drug Enforcement Administration’s 2014 Nation Drug Threat Assessment Summary showed that heroin seizures in the US went up percent form 2009 to 2013. The belief that with the legalization of marijuana, drug trafficking organizations have had to find another way to make money.
